Everything on Kibblepaw (scores, grades, "what's good", "what to know", and any commentary on individual recipes) is editorial opinion based on the disclosed ingredient list. It is not veterinary advice, not a medical assessment, and not a substitute for consultation with a qualified veterinarian who knows your cat.

If you have any concern about your cat's diet, allergies, weight, or health, talk to your vet. They have access to your cat's history; we have access to a label.

What scores are, and aren't

Our scores reflect preferences about ingredient lists, not factual claims about feline health, safety, or nutritional adequacy. The full rule set is published at /methodology so any reader can reproduce a score from the same inputs.

Scores are recipe-level, not brand-level. We do not rank, rate, or characterize companies.

Data sources & accuracy

Ingredient lists, nutritional analyses, pack sizes, and prices are gathered from public retailer and manufacturer pages. Labels can change without notice; we recompute when we re-scrape. If a product page on this site disagrees with what's on the bag in front of you, the bag is correct. Please flag it.

Affiliate disclosure

Some retailer links on Kibblepaw are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. We only use multi-brand retailers (Zooplus, Chewy, Amazon, etc.), where commission rates are flat across brands, so per-brand bias is not introduced through the checkout. Scores are set before retailer links are added to a page.
